What you get on Max

Max is the cheapest plan on the pricing page that includes footage. Its Pro license "Covers all personal and commercial use of the stock catalog", with "Music, stems and sound effects" and "Footage, templates and LUTs", plus the AI toolkit.

On commercial use, the pricing FAQ says: "The Pro license covers up to three channels on any platform and supports all video types — including commercial use, client work and global distribution." The Music & SFX plan's licence "Covers all personal and commercial use of music and sound effects." Artlist's licence page adds: "If you're hired to create the Project, your client is covered by your license and can use the Project."

Catches and fine print

  • After it ends. "Once you create Projects using downloaded Assets and publish them in any media during your subscription term, you can keep using your Projects in the same media and monetize them forever, even after your subscription has expired." Note "in the same media": new uses after the subscription ends aren't covered.
  • Three channels. The Pro license covers up to three channels on any platform.
  • Annual only. No monthly price is shown for Max, and the FAQ's list of plans payable monthly doesn't include it.
  • Hidden plans. The FAQ names plans not on the pricing page, such as Footage & Templates, so a cheaper footage plan may exist. No price for it is published there.
  • AI plans. The AI Starter, Core and Creator plans show struck-through prices that aren't labelled, and don't list the stock catalogue.

Support

The pages we read don't state support channels or hours. Artlist publishes its licence in its help centre.
