Who should pick which
- Adobe Acrobat Sign: PDF editing and e-signature requests in one Acrobat subscription, from $14.99 a month
- SignNow: Several users sharing one account from $8 a month billed yearly, with 100 invites a year
Adobe no longer shows a self-serve Acrobat Sign plan: e-signature requests come with Acrobat subscriptions, and the standalone Acrobat Sign Solutions are sold through sales. So Adobe's side here is Acrobat Standard, the cheapest plan on its plans page whose card lists "Collect e-signatures and track responses". Acrobat Express doesn't send for signature.

Price
Billed yearly, SignNow Business is $8 a month ($96 a year) and Acrobat Standard US$14.99 a month (US$179.88 a year), so Adobe costs US$83.88 a year more. Month to month, SignNow is $20 and Adobe US$24.99.
The bigger difference is who the price covers. SignNow prices per account with unlimited users, so five people still pay $8 a month, sharing the invite allowance. Adobe prices per person: Acrobat Standard for teams is US$16.99 per license a month on an annual plan, US$84.95 for five.
Adobe's annual plan billed monthly charges "up to half your remaining annual commitment if you cancel after 14 days". SignNow's page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Prices from SignNow's pricing page and Adobe's plans page, both read Sep 27, 2026 (SignNow's page re-read Oct 9, 2026).
Where they differ
- Send limit. SignNow's FAQ: "Annual plans include up to 100 signature invites per account per year. Monthly plans include up to 10 signature invites per account per month." Past that, pay-as-you-go, at a price the page doesn't give for Business. Adobe's pages don't state a limit for Acrobat Standard; teams plans have "no usage caps" (Adobe).
- Support. SignNow ticks 24/7 live chat for every plan; phone support is Site License only. Adobe lists phone and chat for Acrobat Standard.
- Free option. SignNow has a 7-day free trial and no free plan. A free Acrobat account allows two requests every 30 days.
- Upgrades. SignNow's payment requests, bulk send and invite links start at Business Premium ($15 a month billed annually). Adobe's bulk send and web forms start at Acrobat Pro (US$19.99 a month on an annual plan).
Who should pick which
Pick SignNow if several people send a few documents each, together under about 100 a year, and you want the lowest yearly entry-plan price of the nine e-signature tools we price ($96 a year).
Pick Adobe Acrobat Standard if one person sends more often than SignNow's allowance covers, you also edit PDFs, or you want phone support.
