Who should pick which
- Dropbox Sign: One sender with unlimited signature requests at $15 a month billed yearly, or 3 a month free
- SignNow: Several users sharing one account from $8 a month billed yearly, with 100 invites a year
Dropbox Sign's entry plan is Essentials, for one sender. SignNow's is Business, one account for any number of users. So the question is how many people send, and how much.

Price
Billed yearly, SignNow Business is $8 a month ($96) and Dropbox Sign Essentials $15 ($180), so Dropbox Sign costs $84 a year more. Month to month, both are $20.
For a team, SignNow's price stays the same: unlimited users share the account and its invite allowance. Dropbox Sign Standard is $25 per user a month billed yearly, from $600 a year for the 2-user minimum; five or more users go through sales.
SignNow's page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Dropbox Sign's pages we read don't state cancellation terms.
Prices from Dropbox Sign's pricing page and SignNow's pricing page, both read Sep 27, 2026 (SignNow's page re-read Oct 9, 2026).
Where they differ
- Volume. Dropbox Sign's help centre says Essentials senders can collect signatures "on an unlimited number of documents". SignNow's FAQ: "Annual plans include up to 100 signature invites per account per year. Monthly plans include up to 10 signature invites per account per month." Past that, it moves to pay-as-you-go at a price its page doesn't give for Business.
- Templates. Essentials allows up to five templates. SignNow's compare table ticks "Unlimited templates" for Business.
- Support. SignNow ticks 24/7 live chat for every plan. Dropbox Sign's pricing table lists "Email" for Essentials, while the row's tooltip says all customers get email and chat. We use the table's reading: email only.
- Free plan. Dropbox Sign's free plan sends 3 signature requests a month. SignNow has a 7-day free trial and no free plan.
- Upgrades. SignNow's bulk send, invite links and payment requests start at Business Premium ($15 a month billed annually). Dropbox Sign's bulk send, branding and SMS authentication start at Standard; its pages don't list payment collection.
