Price
| HubSpot Sales Hub Starter | Zoho CRM Standard | |
|---|---|---|
| One user, billed annually (a month) | $20 | $14 |
| One user, billed monthly | $20 | $20 |
| Five users, billed annually (a month) | $100 | $70 |
| Five users, billed monthly | $100 | $100 |
Billed annually, five users on Zoho CRM cost $30 a month less than on HubSpot. Billed monthly, five users cost the same on both: $100 a month.
HubSpot's $10 and $7 seat prices are a new-customer offer for a limited time, with no end date; the regular price is $20. On the offer, five seats cost $35 a month billed annually or $50 billed monthly, until it ends. Zoho's pricing FAQ says both billing options are pay-as-you-go, with no commitment.
Where they differ
- Support. Zoho's paid editions get classic support by email, call or chat (support plans). HubSpot's pricing FAQ gives Starter email support; its Starter page says 24/7 chat and email. We use the email-only reading, the worse one for a buyer.
- Contacts and pipelines. HubSpot Starter allows 15 million contact records and up to 15 pipelines. Zoho Standard stores 100,000 records and 5 pipelines (feature list).
- Follow-up emails. Zoho Standard includes cadences, scheduled follow-up email series. HubSpot's sequences start on Professional, $90 a seat billed annually plus a $1,500 onboarding fee.
- Free plans. Zoho's free edition covers 3 users and 5,000 records. HubSpot's covers 2 users, and free accounts hold up to 1,000 contacts (product catalog).
- Workflows. HubSpot Starter allows up to 50 workflows with restricted triggers. Zoho Standard allows 30 workflow rules per module, 15 of them active.
Who should pick which
Pick Zoho CRM if you want the lower annual price, phone support and follow-up email series on the entry plan. It is on our list for real estate agents.
Pick HubSpot if your contact list is very large or you need more than 5 pipelines, and you can budget the regular $20 a seat.
Compare both in our CRM ranking, and see how we score CRMs.
