GoDaddy vs Hostinger website builder: an unpublished renewal against a 48-month prepay

Updated Oct 15, 2026

The short answer

GoDaddy's Starter costs $9.99 a month for the first year billed annually; it doesn't publish the price after that, so we use its $19.99 month-to-month price. Its Airo branding stays on every plan, and support is 24/7 phone and chat. Hostinger Premium costs $2.99 a month for 48 months, paid upfront ($143.52), then renews at $10.99 a month; its pages don't address branding, and support starts with a chatbot.

  • Hostinger Website Builder: A $2.99-a-month first term on a 48-month prepay, renewing at $10.99

GoDaddy Website Builder is now sold as Airo AI Builder: you describe a site and it builds sites and web apps from prompts. Hostinger Website Builder comes with Hostinger's hosting plans. Both lead with a low first-term price, and the terms behind those prices differ.

Prices from GoDaddy's website builder page and Hostinger's website builder page, read Sep 27, 2026.

Price

GoDaddy's Starter is $9.99 a month billed annually for the first year, $119.88. GoDaddy doesn't publish what the annual plan costs after that. Month to month, Starter is $19.99 ($239.88 a year); we use that as the long-run price, the worse reading for a buyer.

Hostinger Premium is $2.99 a month for 48 months, paid upfront as $143.52, and "Renews at $10.99/mo", about $131.88 a year. The builder page shows no shorter term and doesn't say how long the renewal term is.

So Hostinger's upfront bill is $23.64 more than GoDaddy's first year, but it covers four years instead of one. After the first term, Hostinger's published $10.99 compares with GoDaddy's unpublished renewal, or $19.99 month to month.

Where they differ

  • Branding. GoDaddy lists "Remove Airo branding" as coming soon on Professional and Ultimate only, so today no plan removes it. Hostinger's pages don't say whether its paid sites carry Hostinger branding.
  • Support. GoDaddy says it offers 24/7 expert support via phone and chat. Hostinger's Premium card offers "chatbot support from Hostinger Agent", which can hand over to a person; its main pricing page lists priority 24/7 support on Premium. We use the builder page, the worse reading. No phone support is published.
  • Trying it. GoDaddy's free tier gives 50 AI credits a month for building preview sites; publishing starts on Starter. Hostinger has no free plan. Its builder page offers a 14-day trial, but the help centre says 7 days; we use 7. Trial sites can't be published.
  • Sites and email. Starter lists 1 published site or app. Hostinger Premium covers up to 3 websites and 2 mailboxes per website, free for 1 year, then $0.59 a month each.
  • Restaurants. GoDaddy's food and beverage page says you can prompt menu apps and ordering or reservation apps, and connect OpenTable, Resy, Tock and Toast; the builder page puts online payments on Professional. Hostinger's restaurant page offers a menu upload with a QR code, and request forms or live chat for reservations.

Who should pick which

Pick GoDaddy if you want to describe your site rather than design it, want phone help at any hour, and can accept the Airo branding and an unpublished year-two price.

Pick Hostinger if you are sure the site will run for four years, want the upfront cost of those years fixed now, and want a few sites and mailboxes bundled. GoDaddy is on our list of website builders for restaurants; Hostinger isn't.
