Price
Carrd's Pro Standard is $19 a year, about $1.58 a month, for 10 sites. Wix Light is $17 a month on a yearly subscription paid in full at purchase, which is $204 a year. Light costs $185 a year more.
Wix publishes only yearly prices; it says other subscription periods are available but doesn't show their prices. Neither company shows an introductory price, so these are also the renewal prices. Carrd includes no domain, so add a registrar's fee. Wix Light includes a free domain for 1 year.
Where they differ
- The domain. Wix Light includes a free domain for 1 year; Wix's FAQ says most yearly or multi-year Premium plans come with the voucher. Carrd says the custom domain must be registered elsewhere first.
- Forms. Carrd's Pro Standard includes contact forms. Wix Light allows 4 lead-capture forms, with 10 fields per form.
- Support. Wix Light lists 24/7 customer care: chat, or a scheduled call with a Customer Care Expert. Carrd answers through a contact form, usually within 24 hours.
- Trying it. Both have free plans. Carrd adds a 7-day Pro trial with no card. Wix has no trial, but says you can cancel a first Premium plan within 14 days for a full refund.
- Restaurants. Wix Light includes custom menus; online orders and reservations start on Core, $29 a month billed yearly. Carrd's pages describe no menu or reservation feature.
