What you get on Premium
The Premium card lists "Free Domain for 1 year", 3GB of storage and bandwidth, connecting your own domain, a store and removal of the SITE123 floating tag. SSL is built into every SITE123 website. Forms on paid packages have no limit on the number of fields; on Free they are limited to 5.
Its restaurant page describes menu management for items, categories, prices and descriptions, and a Book a Table tool that lets customers choose how many diners will attend. It also mentions options for online ordering.
Catches and fine print
- Two prices. The Premium card shows $12.80 a month. The pricing FAQ says a custom domain costs "as low as $10.8 per month (annual plan, paid up front)". We use $12.80, the worse reading for a buyer. The card's price also loads separately and may differ between visitors; we read it from a US connection.
- The real packages are hidden. SITE123's help centre says upgrades choose among Basic, Advanced, Professional, Gold and Platinum, with terms from 3 months to 10 years. Their prices appear only inside the dashboard after sign-up, so we couldn't read them or any renewal price.
- The free domain needs an annual plan. The FAQ says the free year of domain service comes with the first purchase of any annual plan, not with 3-month terms.
- Restaurant tools by package. The pages don't say which package includes online ordering, and a help article says each package has its own monthly order limit, without publishing the limits.
- Free plan limits. Free sites stay on a SITE123 subdomain with the floating tag and 250 MB of storage.
