Website builders
Website builders for restaurants: menus, reservations and online ordering by plan
Quick answer
SITE123 describes all three restaurant tools, a menu manager, a Book a Table tool and online ordering, though it doesn't say which package includes each; GoDaddy describes all three as apps you prompt it to build. Squarespace has Menu and OpenTable blocks on its $19 Basic plan. Wix has menus on Light but ordering and reservations only from Core. Webflow and IONOS describe none for restaurants.
*SITE123 describes a menu manager, table booking and online ordering as built-in tools; GoDaddy describes all three as apps you prompt it to build. Squarespace has menu and OpenTable blocks on its entry plan. Wix keeps ordering and reservations for Core. Webflow and IONOS describe none of the three for restaurants.*
A restaurant site needs three things a plain business site doesn't: a menu you can update, a way to book a table, and a way to order online. Here is what each builder in our website builder ranking says about each, and on which plan. All were read on Sep 27, 2026. Our list of website builders for restaurants ranks the builders that state at least two of the three on their entry plan or as a stated add-on.
A menu you can edit
- SITE123: "Menu Management Simple tools for adding, editing, and deleting menu items", with categories, prices and descriptions. No package is named.
- Squarespace: "Menu block Included" on every plan, from Basic ($19 a month billed annually).
- Wix: Custom Menus are included in the Light plan ($17 a month on a yearly plan) and up.
- Jimdo: "Put your menu online" with Menu blocks for dishes, prices and descriptions. No plan limit is stated.
- GoDaddy: its food and beverage page says you can prompt Airo AI Builder to build custom menu apps with sections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No plan restriction is stated.
- Hostinger: its restaurant page offers uploading your menu, plus a QR code for it. We don't count an upload as a menu builder.
- Strikingly: its food websites page suggests uploading your menu; no menu tool is described.
- Carrd, IONOS and Webflow: no menu feature on their pages.
Table reservations
- SITE123: a "Book a Table Tool" that lets customers book a table and say how many diners will attend. No package is named.
- Squarespace: "OpenTable block Included" on every plan from Basic. Reservations run through OpenTable. Tock blocks also take reservations; Tock is a separate subscription.
- Strikingly: custom forms can take reservations; the Pro plan ($16 a month billed yearly) lists custom forms.
- Jimdo: "With Jimdo Bookings, customers can make reservations". Bookings is an appointment tool; Bookings Lite is free for one event, and Bookings Essentials is a paid add-on.
- GoDaddy: connects to Yelp Reservations, OpenTable, Resy and Tock, or you can prompt a reservations app. No plan restriction is stated.
- Hostinger: request forms or live chat for reservations, not a booking system.
- Wix: reservations are "Not included in Light plan"; they start on Core ($29 a month on a yearly plan).
- IONOS: its online booking tool is for appointments and starts on Plus, not Starter; table reservations aren't mentioned.
- Carrd and Webflow: no reservation feature on their pages.
Online ordering
- SITE123: "options for online ordering". Its help centre says each package has its own monthly order limit, but the limits aren't published.
- Squarespace: its restaurant guide says Tock blocks link to your Tock page for online orders, on any plan; Tock is a separate subscription. ChowNow ordering needs Core or higher.
- Strikingly: order forms on Pro, or its store (up to 300 products, 2% transaction fee). No pickup-time system is described.
- GoDaddy: you can prompt web apps for online ordering and connect Toast, UberEats, DoorDash, Fantuan and Chowbus. Its builder page lists taking online payments only from Professional ($24.99 a month for the first annual year).
- Wix: online orders are "Not included in Light plan" and start on Core.
- Jimdo: ordering for pickup needs an online store plan, from Basic at $18 a month on a 12-month term.
- Carrd: a payment-enabled form can work as an order form, but needs Pro Plus at $49 a year.
- Hostinger, IONOS and Webflow: no food ordering feature on their pages.
What this means for a restaurant
If you want all three on one site without add-ons, SITE123 describes them as built-in pages, but check in its dashboard which package includes ordering, and its order limit, before you pay. Squarespace Basic covers menus and OpenTable reservations for $19 a month billed annually; ordering means Tock or a Core plan. Wix gives you a menu on Light, but budget for Core if you'll take orders or reservations through the site.
If ordering runs through your point-of-sale system, see POS systems for restaurants. For the builders ranked for restaurants, see website builders for restaurants.
