How much does CRM software cost? Entry plans for small teams
Quick answer
For a small team, CRM entry plans cost $9 to $35 per user a month billed annually, and $11 to $49 billed monthly. Five users pay about $45 to $175 a month on annual billing. Second-tier plans run $17 to $100 a user billed annually, and top plans reach $550. Free plans exist from Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Capsule and Salesforce, for two or three users.
Most CRMs charge per user a month, with a discount for paying a year upfront. Here is what the entry plan (the cheapest paid plan that allows five users) costs at each CRM we rank, then what the upper plans and extras cost. Prices from each company's pricing page, read Sep 27, 2026.

| CRM | Entry plan | Per user a month, billed annually | Billed monthly | Five users a month, billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freshsales | Growth | $9 | $11 | $45 |
| monday CRM | Basic | $12 | $18 | $60 (3-seat minimum) |
| Zoho CRM | Standard | $14 | $20 | $70 |

| Salesforce | Starter Suite | $25 | $25 | $125 |
| Close | Essentials | $35 | $49 | $175 |
HubSpot's row is its regular price. Its pricing page shows a new-customer offer of $10 a seat monthly or $7 annually, for a limited time with no end date.
Monthly billing costs more
Paying month by month raises the bill at most of these CRMs. Five users on Pipedrive Lite pay $120 a month billed monthly instead of $70. Five on Close Essentials pay $245 instead of $175. Salesforce Starter Suite and HubSpot's regular Starter price are the same either way, and Less Annoying CRM bills monthly only.

The second plan is where many CRMs put email sync, automation or reports:
- monday CRM Standard: $17 a seat billed yearly, adding two-way email and 250 automations a month.

Free plans
Zoho CRM is free for 3 users with 5,000 records. HubSpot is free for 2 users. Capsule is free for 2 users and 250 contacts. Salesforce Free Suite comes with 2 user licenses, free as long as you log in at least once every 60 days. Freshsales shows a free plan for 3 users on its comparison page but not on its pricing page, so we don't count it.
What to budget
