Price

For one user billed yearly, both are $10 a month ($120). Month to month, Zoho Sign is US$12 and DocuSign $15.

For five users billed yearly, Zoho Sign Standard is US$50 a month. DocuSign Personal is single-user; Standard is $25 per user a month paid yearly, $125 for five.

DocuSign's default option, $11 a month, is "an annual commitment of $132": you can cancel within 30 days without penalty, after that the rest of the year is owed. Zoho's pricing page we read doesn't state cancellation terms. Zoho sells credits at US$0.10 each, in packs of 500, for envelopes sent through its API or third-party apps.

Prices from DocuSign's pricing page and Zoho Sign's pricing page, both read Sep 27, 2026.

Where they differ

  • Volume. Zoho Sign Standard allows 25 envelopes per user a month; DocuSign Personal 5.
  • Templates. DocuSign ticks reusable templates for Personal. Zoho's templates help article says: "This feature is available only in Professional and Enterprise Editions." Professional is US$16 per user a month billed annually.
  • Signer checks. Zoho's table ticks SMS OTP, knowledge-based checks from IDology and Stripe Identity for Standard. DocuSign's ID verification isn't on Personal; on Standard or Business Pro it's an add-on from $2.40 an attempt.
  • Support. Zoho lists priority support by email, web and phone on Standard. DocuSign's Standard Support is the Support Center and chat; phone needs a paid support plan.
  • Free plan. Zoho Sign's free plan covers a single user and 5 envelopes a month. DocuSign offers a free trial of unstated length. Its home page says "Send, sign and manage all your agreements for free", but the pricing page lists no free plan, so we read it as a trial.

Who should pick which

Pick DocuSign if you reuse the same agreements and send 5 a month or fewer, or want chat support.

Pick Zoho Sign if you send up to 25 a month per person, want signer ID checks or phone support on the entry plan, or want a free plan to start and can work without templates.
