Price

For one user billed yearly, DocuSign Personal is $10 a month ($120) and PandaDoc Starter $19 ($228), so PandaDoc costs $108 a year more. Month to month, it's $15 against $35.

For five users, Personal won't do: it's single-user. DocuSign Standard is $25 per user a month paid yearly, $125 a month. PandaDoc Starter is $95 a month billed annually.

DocuSign's default option, $11 a month, is "an annual commitment of $132": you can cancel within 30 days without penalty, after that the rest of the year is owed. PandaDoc's pages we read don't state cancellation terms.

Prices from DocuSign's pricing page and PandaDoc's plan comparison, both read Sep 27, 2026.

Where they differ

  • Volume. PandaDoc's plan comparison shows unlimited documents on Starter. DocuSign Personal allows 5 envelopes a month; Standard 100 per user a year.
  • Reminders. DocuSign ticks notifications and reminders for Personal. PandaDoc's auto reminders are Business and Enterprise only; Starter has email notifications, not automatic reminders.
  • Payments. PandaDoc Starter can collect payments through Stripe only; the rollout of the Collect Payment workflow step to Starter isn't finished. DocuSign's payment collection starts at Business Pro, $40 per user a month paid yearly.
  • Templates. Starter allows up to 5 templates; DocuSign ticks reusable templates for Personal without a stated count.
  • Support. PandaDoc offers 24/7/365 in-app chat, bot first, then a live agent. DocuSign's Standard Support is the Support Center and chat, with a target first response under 24 hours.
  • Free option. PandaDoc's Free eSign sends up to 60 documents a calendar year, 2 recipients each. DocuSign offers a free trial of unstated length. Its home page says "Send, sign and manage all your agreements for free", but the pricing page lists no free plan, so we read it as a trial.

Who should pick which

Pick DocuSign if you send 5 envelopes a month or fewer, want reminders on the entry plan, or want the lower price for one user.

Pick PandaDoc if you send quotes and proposals in volume, want to take Stripe payments at signing, or want a free plan to start.
